OFELIA

OFELIA (OpenFlow in Europe: Linking Infrastructure and Application) is a 3-year ICT FP7 research project (September 2010 - September 2013) with the aim of creating and making available a dynamically extendable Future Internet experimental facility. The objective is to provide researchers with an enhanceable way of testing new internetworking protocols in large-scale environments, exploring Software Defined Networks concepts.

MEDIEVAL

MEDIEVAL (MultiMEDia transport for mobIlE Video AppLications) is a small or medium-scale focused research project (STREP) of the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission, addressing the core of the strategic objective "The Network of the Future". MEDIEVAL aims at evolving the Internet architecture for efficient video transport, following a cross-layer design. The project has started on 01/07/10 and has a duration of 3 years.
