Milestone Description
Context
As our system grows towards a production-ready prototype, it is essential to ensure that it not only functions correctly but also complies with legal standards and is resilient against potential risks. This milestone focuses on the Legal Requirements, Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, and Risks Assessment.
Goals
The main objectives of this milestone are:
- Define comprehensive Terms of Use that clearly outline the system's limitations and user responsibilities while driving.
- Establish a GDPR-compliant Privacy Policy to ensure user data (like location and telemetry) is handled and protected properly.
- Conduct a thorough Risk Assessment evaluating both technical vulnerabilities and business/project risks.
- Identify necessary mitigations to address the identified risks.
Documents made:
- Terms of Use & Privacy Policy: Document outlining the legal terms for using our app, including safety warnings, licensing, and liability limitations, as well as a privacy policy that specifies data collection, processing, and user rights under GDPR.
- Risks Assessment: A comprehensive analysis of potential technical and business risks, along with proposed mitigation strategies to ensure the app's reliability, user trust, and project success.
